Favourite course played and why?
Little Aston, a real test of golf and a fantastic place – apart from the ladies have to go in the back door near the kitchen!!!
Best result as a golfer?
Played to 2 in a Club Championship 2nd round, having been 20 off the lead to win by 2 clear shots!!
Biggest tournament you’ve attended or played in?
Attended The Open Championship. Played in lots of Pro-Ams and caddied for Dr. Arthur Spring in a Senior Open Championship!
Most memorable moment on the golf course? e.g. hole-in-one?
2 x Eagles on a par 4 and 5 at Belton Woods on the same day.
Funniest thing you’ve seen on the golf course?
Friend tee’d off New Years Day on the first, hit the concrete tee marker which went careering off backwards into the car park!
Favourite player and why?
Local Paul Streeter now playing with the big boys on the seniors tour – local boy made good!!
Away from golf … other hobbies and pastimes?
Fast cars, kart racing and motorbikes!
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Dominican Republic diverse locality with great food places to see and do + the odd golf course too!
Fillet steak (what else would you expect from a former meat wholesaler!!)
