We had another GLORIOUS day for our Spring Meeting with over 60 ladies entered in the main 18 hole Medal Competition for the Spring Trophy and Spring Meeting prizes. A third of those also took part in the 9 hole 3-3-3 competition in the afternoon, not to mention the putting. The latter competition proving that even the putting green had it's own idiosyncracies with even the shortest and simpleist looking putts causing problems.
It was also brilliant to welcome some of our new Lady members to their first Club competition - may it be the first of many.
Many thanks to all those Ladies who helped organise and plan the day, and to those who assisted during the day. These events wouldn't run if it wasn't for the volunteers willing to step forward and help.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners, especially Julie Froggatt who won the Best Nett overall prize ( reducing her handicap by 2 shots!), and to Ann Byrne who won the Spring Trophy (reducing her handicap by 1 shot).
