Ladies’ Captain’s Day – 9 July

What a brilliant day I had. Luckily the weather stayed fine and there were some great scores in.

41 Ladies took part in the Ladies’ Captain’s Stableford Competition and were started off by my husband Keith and Robert Burns. Photographs on the tee were taken by my Son in Law Robert and Granddaughter Charlotte, hopefully we will be able to see these shortly. All the ladies were greeted at the Half Way House by my daughters Deborah and Nicola for a refreshing Pimm’s and Strawberries and Cream, together with a mixture of cakes which I hope you all enjoyed.

My thanks go to everyone who helped make the day a success and a very memorable one for me too.

56 Ladies and Guests enjoyed a lovely Roast Carvery Dinner and my thanks go to Rob, Les, Catering & Bar Staff.

There were many prizes on the day and the Winner of the Ladies’ Captain’s Prize was Jane Tucker with a great score of 41 points, well done Jane. Congratulations to all the other ladies who were lucky enough to win a prize.

I would like to thank you all for the lovely cards and good wishes and for all the gifts I received. A special thank you to the Ladies’ Section for the Garden Vouchers and shortly I will be purchasing something for the garden, which will remind me of my ‘Special Day’.

I hope you all enjoyed the day too and once again thank you very much.
