Success for Rob

Congratulations to our Club Professional Rob Ellis who finished in 2nd place in the Senior PGA Professional Championship at Northants County.  Rob sandwiched a 2nd round 69 between two 72's and was more than pleased with his showing given the majority of his time is spent tyrying to improve our play!  When interviewed he said " This is a fantastic result.  At the start of the week my first aim was to make the cut and try and get in the top 20 to get Mottram Hall.  Anything else was going to be a bonus so I'm delighted with 2nd.
