Teaching & Playing Professional for Newark Golf Club
Notts Union of Golf Clubs County Coach

Peter Lockley

Quote:  To sustain your improvement at this game you need a coach, a source of encouragement and feedback. Someone to trust. If you should choose to seek out a teacher, and I recommend you do, commit yourself to a series of lessons, just like I did as a boy. Give the Professional a chance to get to know you, and understand your needs and aspirations.  Nick Faldo.

If you have a commitment to fulfilling your potential, working hard to shoot those lower scores, then a personal coach to help you deal with the development of the swing and all aspects of the short game and  putting will make you a better, more complete golfer.  A personal coach will thoroughly understand your technique. He is able to correct those faults that creep in as they develop, keeping you primed and ready for action.

Individual sessions can be tailored to suit you.  It may be a one off lesson to give you that quick-fix - and this will work, but probably only on a short term basis. Or it may be a short series of lessons designed to give you a greater understanding of one or more of the many aspects of your game.  There is no better way to understand your golf swing than a Video Lesson, but then you may be having difficulty with your short game or your putting technique. How is your bunker play?

You can take this opportunity and begin to build a rapport with your personal coach which will last a lifetime.  Golfers often have a series of weekly sessions to start with. As they develop, this may change  to one a month, three or four a year, or even an annual visit to …….your Own Personal Coach.

Peter loves to impart his knowledge and experience to enthusiastic golfers of all standards.  Having discovered his natural talent for coaching Peter has developed his abilities to be able to tailor his style of teaching to suit the requirements of his pupils personality and physique.
