Gentlemen: Interclub Scratch League v Rushcliffe.

Newark GC travelled to Rushclffe GC in the Notts Inter-Club Scratch League and continued their promotion drive with a winning 3-2 scoreline. Newark now top the table ahead of Mapperley and Ramsdale Pk with two fixtures remaining. Team: Dave Britten; Charles Paley; Phil Trueman; Tim Cooke; John E Cooke jnr.

Div 1: 1- Joe Marum [nett 69 and lowest gross of 74];  2- John W Marshall [nett 70 cb]; 3- Stuart Hutchinson [nett 70].

Ladies: Enos Smith  Round 2 of 2.

Ladies Captain, Jill Pearce with nett 71, won Round 2 of the Enos Smith Trophy on countback, from Sue Simpson.

After the combination of the two rounds:

1 - Linda Castledine 70 + 72 = nett 142 won the overall competition. 2 -  Brenda Wood  69 +73 = nett 142;  3  - Jean Dews 73+72 = nett145; 

Best Gross; Jane Tucker 83+84 =167.
